As 2023 comes to a close, we’re taking some time to reflect on the incredible year just past. And we’re pretty proud! CiNCO has accomplished so much in 2023 so we wanted to share some of our highlight reel with you, and thank you for all of your ongoing support from the bottom of our hearts. Through hard work, creativity, dreaming big and our fabulous loyal customers, our once small salon in Vasse has now grown bigger and better, bringing our brand nationwide with our first product collection and even expanding our space to accommodate more gorgeous clients like you. Here’s a low down on CiNCO’s stand out moments from our year!
OUR CHARITY PARTNERSHIPS
The McGrath Foundation is a breast cancer support and education charity which raises awareness about breast cancer and uses their donations to help place nurses in communities around the country. CiNCO has proudly been partners with this foundation for a few years now, and 2023 marked another successful year for our partnership! Throughout the year, we hosted a number of fundraising events which generated $1435 worth of donations for the organisation and used our platform to raise awareness about all of their fabulous initiatives.
INTRODUCING BY CiNCO
In May this year we were extremely excited to announce the launch of BY CiNCO; CiNCO’s first range of hair products and accessories. This project took years of research and refining to ensure we were absolutely happy with every product included. Our first collection, which you can shop here, includes a heated styling wand, rollers, brushes, combs and jewellery.
We are so thrilled to have a tangible range of products that our customers can now take home with them, and it also means the expansion of the brand nationwide to people who may not be able to visit us in salon.We look forward to continuing to progress with our development for this collection to see where it takes CiNCO next year!
SAY HELLO TO CiNCO EXTENSIONS
While CiNCO has offered extensions in our salon since first opening our doors, in 2023 we decided to create our very own range of extensions under the CiNCO brand. We wanted to take control of the quality, colour selection and expand our range, so we did! We even decided to create halo extensions for hire, making extensions more affordable for those who just want to have them for a special occasion such as a formal or a wedding. The response has been amazing, and we have become known for offering some of the best hair extensions in the region.
WE GOT A NEW HOME!
As our beautiful network of clients started to expand, we found ourselves with a bit of a (not so bad!) problem – we were running out of space in our salon! That’s why towards the end of this year, we took it upon ourselves to treat ourselves to the ultimate glow up… and build our salon into next door! This was a massive milestone for us because it showed us just how far we’ve come from. We felt so much gratitude for our amazing hard working staff, and our returning clients who have made this kind of growth possible in such a short period of time.
We worked closely with our building team and also a team of interior designers to create a space that felt like CiNCO, and we are sooo pleased with the final result. WE RECEIVED NATION-WIDE AWARD RECOGNITION!
We are extremely motivated to be the best in our industry. That’s why we have always had a clear idea of how we want to develop our brand and we push ourselves academically so that our team members can continue to keep progressing in their tiers of stylist and staying up to date with the latest industry trends. And it paid off!
We were absolutely elated to have national recognition from two of the most esteemed hair accolades in the country – the Australian Hair Industry Awards and the Australian Hair & Fashion Awards. We were nominated for the best State salon, and even got the opportunity to travel to Sydney and the Gold Coast for the awards presentation. While we didn’t come home with any trophies, being nominated as a small regional salon feels like a big enough accomplishment for us!
MAINTAINING PREMIUM BRAND PARTNERSHIPS
You will only ever find the best hair care brands at CiNCO. Throughout the year, we have proudly maintained partnerships with some of the world’s most renowned labels, including elevating our existing partnership with Keune to award us a coveted “silver” partner title. We are also the only stockists of Kerastase South of Bunbury, which we’re pretty proud of!
GROWING OUR TEAM
While have proudly retained our core team of stylists for up to five years, you may see some new faces around the salon when you next come to visit us. In 2023, we welcomed four new lovely staff members to the CiNCO family! Two seniors, two trainees and two junior assistants to ensure our customers are getting the A+ standard of service that they deserve, even during busy periods. We are excited to have new team members to share our knowledge and also inspire each other to continue to excel and develop our skill set across cutting, colour, extensions and more.
HOT OFF THE PRESS
We got ready for our close up this year! In 2023, CiNCO were interviewed on local television to celebrate our award nomination for the AHIA awards and our achievements throughout the year. This was such an honour for us to be celebrated in such a big way from our local media, and we were also fortunate to be interviewed by radio stations such as hot fm and tripleM.
Needless to say, it’s been a big year for us CiNCO team! With a fire in our belly and a whole lot of gratitude for our incredible community, we look forward to continue to work hard into 2024 and making sure that next year is just as productive.
